Gibraltar’s laws about the conduct of the armed forces may be due for a bit of an extension as new legislation is being drafted, says GBC; it’s all about bringing the Rock in line with mainland UK. The Rock is used to hefty legislation thanks to the gaming organisations that work there and the regulations under which they work; a particularly big casino is due to open there next year.
Sport has been in the headlines for good and bad reasons. First there’s been trouble at the Europa football ground. Second and more positively the snooker went rather well.
